Jerry Fryman is a man of extraordinary energy and creative talent. He is a sculpture, entrepreneur, and the father of six children. Jerry served his country in the US Army and attended Kent State University.

He creates his artwork because he enjoys it.

In 1973, Jerry founded the Haynn Construction Company Inc. that designs and manufactures industry-leading process heating equipment, process cleaning equipment, spray booths, material-handling equipment, for industrial applications. It is located on Ohio State Route 301, his hometown of West Salem, Ohio.

He is collaborating with his son Paul Fryman, founder and brewer of the award-winning JAFB Wooster Brewery to open a smaller brewery in a renovated, three-bedroom house in West Salem. The new location is also now home to several pieces of his artwork moved from Wooster.

They anticipated growth in tourism because of the investment made to improve Dragway 42.

“That’s a big reason for us not being afraid to invest money,” said Jerry Fryman, who created the artwork and carved the wooden picnic tables inside the JAFB Wooster tasting room.
