Iris Imaging began as a business that provided technical photographic services to the medical community of NE Ohio.

 The company now specializes in visual communication to educate specific populations on social, political, economic, and medical issues of regional, national or global concern.  This service is designed to meet the needs of governments, non-governmental organizations, large non-profit organizations and corporations that engage in social marketing and want to communicate their concerns to a specific audience.

Iris Imaging also provides quality photographic and video services for those doing businesses in Northern Ohio. 

Iris Imaging is own by Mike McCray, photographer, videographer, and activist, whose passion is story telling through the mediums of video and still photography. He has a long history of using visual communications to illustrate the social, medical, and economic conditions of people around the world.

He attributes a great love of history with providing him a basic understanding of the different cultures and social curcumstances of people he has photographed. "Many people rely on limited erroneous misinformation from popular media in their understanding of the world. They are looking to put things in  small boxes that are really large complex issues."

Even thought Iris Imaging is a sole proprietorship many of the projects it undertakes are large collaborations. Iris Imaging is extremely blessed by God to have such an abundant wealth of talent in N.E. Ohio.

Being able to draw on a large number of talented individuals is the reason for the success of many projects undertaken by Mike McCray. While I handle the smaller project the ability to expand when needed is vital on large projects or you end up with a one dimensional view.

These collaborations provide Iris Imaging the means to keep our cost down without sacrificing quality.

Another unique thing about Iris Imaging is its philosophy towards what type of visual communication marketing projects it will do. We only engage those clients who have long-term projects that we support. Many of the project I have untertaken I either initiated or have been approached because of other related work.  "While you need the funds to operate money is not the deciding factor.
