What is fine art?
Oxford Dictionary defines fine art as creative art, especially visual art whose products are to be appreciated primarily or solely for their imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content.
Some believe fine art photography stands in contrast to photojournalism and commercial photography. In that fine arts photographs that are created primarily to fulfill the creative vision of the artist, but it has also been important in advancing certain causes.
There is a view that photojournalism is simply visually communicating stories and ideas, mainly for print and digital media. While commercial photography is simply about commerce.
This is a very narrow view.
